Russian Government Procurement Delegation Visits Changli Agricultural Machinery and Intends to Sign Cooperation Agreement on Tractor Purchase

Recently, a Russian government procurement delegation visited Changli Agricultural Machinery (hereinafter referred to as “Changli A&M”), focusing on its tractor production scale, capacity layout and quality management system, and highly recognized its product performance and service capability. The two sides started in-depth communication on future cooperation, and plan to sign a tractor procurement and technical cooperation agreement to help upgrade agricultural mechanization in Russia. 

Key points and results of the visit 

1. Production scale and technical strength 

   The delegation visited the intelligent assembly workshop, R&D center and new product display area of Changli Agricultural Machinery, focusing on the digital production line and green tractor product demonstration, and inspected the whole series of tractor production lines covering 8-240 hp, and affirmed its intelligent manufacturing process and quality management system.

2. Direction and mode of cooperation

   The two sides discussed the feasibility of government procurement to support farmers' purchase of machines, and planned to promote cooperation in the mode of “general distribution + localized service”, combining medium- and long-term supply plans and the construction of the local service network to improve the efficiency of market response. 

3. Regional strategic layout

   According to Changli Agricultural Machinery, if the cooperation with Russia is reached, it will use the country as a pivot point to further expand the Central Asian market. The two sides intend to finalize the first batch of tractor supply quantity, price and technical service details in the near future, and simultaneously promote the construction of dealer network.
